Active research projects:

I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow on the NERC funded CongoPeat project: Past, Present and Future of the Peatlands of the Central Congo Basin. My role is as a palaeoecology expert, assessing pollen, charcoal and testate amoebae in peat cores from CongoPeat expeditions in order to understand peatland development.
